Applications are invited for one tenure-track position at the
Assistant Professor level beginning August, 2009. A Ph.D. in
mathematics is expected; expertise in computational and/or applied
mathematics is preferred. The department has 21 full-time faculty
members in mathematics, computer science, and statistics. We offer a
multidisciplinary Master's program in computational mathematics as

campus community. Duquesne University values diversity and encourages
minorities to apply.
Applications received by December 15, 2008 will be given full
consideration and should be submitted electronically at http://www.mathjobs.org. Further
